Bozhane Turkish Bath (EreÄŸli):
This bath is on Bozhane street in Orhanlar Mahallesi in EreÄŸi city of Zonguldak. When it was built is not known, but it is understood from its architectural structure that it is a sample of 19th century classic Ottoman baths. Today it is under a private ownership, and it lost some part ofits front because of road construction.
This bath is in the structure of double baths, and it consitsi of two symetrical rectangular parts. The outer structure of the bath draws attention, and the main entrance with two floors is on the north. On the lower floor, there is one window on both sides of the door, and there are three windows on the upper floor.
It consists of cloakroom facilities, warm room and hot room. The cloakroom facilities is made of wood and covered with a Turkish style tile roof. In the middle of the cloakroom facilities are octagon towers for drying towels. This part which is covered with a dome contains telescopic octagons and stars. The warm room has two domes and it reaches to hot room.
The hot room has a square structure, and there is a heated marble platform in the middle. On the side walls of hot room is a part with five marble basins which is covered with a central dome.
