Karacasu Spa:
There are two springs jointed to North Anatolia fault around Karacasu South to the Bolu valley, and they are 5km away from Bolu. One of them is called Küçük Spa, The other is called Büyük Spa. In 1993 this area is stated as a thermal tourism place.
Temperature of Büyük Spa is 40C-44C, Temperature of Küçük Spa is 40C-46C. The flow of them is not very high, 55lt/sec.
They contain iron and sulphur, they are radioactive.
Here are the benefits of the these spas defined by Health Ministry: With bath cure (under a doctor control), it is effective on inflammatory rheumatism diseases, chroniic cases, chronic backache, noninflammatory joint diseases such as osteoarthritis, in mobilization studies for the cases of being motionless after orthopedic operations, brain and nerve operations. Also it is beneficial for rehabilitation in neurologic diseases and cerebral palsy, stress, sport injuries. With its mineral water(drinking), it is a kind of compelemtary cure for osteoporosis.
Mudurnu Spa:
It is 5km away from Mudurnu.
Temperature of its water is 37,2C. The total flow of available water cannot be measured since there are several leaks of spring with different flow. The spring point changes gradually. Theere is a hotel with 18 beds.
It is beneficial for metabolism diseases, rheumatism, gynecological diseases, digestion and kidney diseases. As a drink, it is also beneficial for liver and gall tract and diabetes.
Mudurnu Sarot Spa:
It locates 500m away from Sarot village in TaÅŸkesti.
Temperature of the water is 60C, and its PH value is 3,92. This hypothermal hypotonic mineral water contains sulfate, sodium and calcium.
It is beneficial for kidney, urinary tract, and rheumatism. Its bath capacity is pretty high, 4500 people a day, because of its total flow.

It locates in a valley near Kesenözü village 14km away from Seben city. According to a survey of MTA, there are 5 different springs with different temperature (26C, 60C, 68C, 74C, 78C). Its water contains sodium bicarbonate.

Catak Spa:
It is in a valley near Himmetoglu village, 30km Southeast to Goynuk city.
Its temperature is 36C, and its PH value is 7,72. It is a combination of calcium bicarbonate. And it is curatory on rheumatism and sceitica.
